RRS or Really Right Stuff, transferred ownership to Joe and Joan Johnson, on Monday, July 1st, 2002. Maintaining dedication to product innovation, they have made a few changes for more convenient ordering. Our very best wishes to them.

RRS B16 universal converter clamp (L-bracket)

RRS was founded in October of 1990 by Bryan and Kathy Geyer. Their passion for nature photography fueled a creative business that has helped countless photographers truly learn to love their tripods with innovative anti-twist plates and brackets for cameras and lenses.

Aside for the "generic" universal converter clamp available in two sizes for small and large cameras, RRS makes custom L-brackets for many Nikon models.

RRS BF5L, providing easy accessibility of the battery pack drawer of the Nikon F5, avoiding the need for dismounting the camera from the bracket, should you need to replace batteries.

RRS B50L, providing easy accessibility of the button release to open the back of the camera for film replacement on the Nikon F100, without MB-15.

The model for the F100 with MB-15 is expected to be soon available.

BJ chose the B50L RRS L-bracket for his typical landscape setup, the F100 without the MB-15, to make it lighter in the field.

I mostly use the F5 so the BF5L is the one I ordered and a Kirk BL-F100G for the F100 with MB-15. After all, I've been very happy with my Kirk replacement tripod collars.
