These variegated carnivorous beauties pose nicely for field sketching and painting. The males also enjoy a good fight (previously called Siamese fighting fish). Their labyrinth organs permit them to breathe oxygen in order to supplement gill function - probably handy in a scrimmage. Pastels, 8x10".
