I enjoy behaviour of the birds and being out in nature. If I look for optimum BG and light , futile effort :( . Most of my favourite spots have been lost to Property Developers. Even this spot has some 'tree felling' going on the far side of the lake and the Eagles have stopped nesting. Cheers, Tom
Edit: ViewNX shows focus point at juncture of tail feathers and wing :( . I'm certainly getting slower :)

Stork Billed going flat out. I had been using TC2 because there was a White Bellied Sea Eagle around at distance but the TC2 was just too slow to catch these so dropped to TC1.4 :). Almost nailed it :). Have not been shooting birds much so out of practice :( Edit: replaced Orig. and experimenting with Wildlife Gallery since haven't posted to it for a couple of years .
