08 Jun 2015 gpoole said:Tom Like most of my images at the Alligator Farm, I took this with a flash and Better Beamer. Flash compensation was -1.7 stops below the ambient exposure. I think that probably helps the birds stand out. The St. Augustine Alligator Farm has a boardwalk through the rookery. The birds are very acclimated to photographers. Often you can get very close to the birds as I did with this pair. This is almost a full frame shot. About the worse case is that you are 150 ft. away. Thanks for looking and the kind comment.
