Stegosaurus, internal quartz microsculpture, Markison
First I carved the stegosaurus into the bottom of a surprisingly bright and refractive piece of optically clear Brazilian quartz, using a Foredom flex shaft tool and handmade diamond bits. Then I took the picture outside at about 7 AM (ambient light).
