The Groom stumbled at the edge and stopped my heart!!!
One of my Favorite locations for Weddings in Sedona.
Also most Challenging! High Contrast Backlit 4-5 stops of separation .
Used 3 Remote SB800 flash units Plus Master SB800 for Fill!
(See Shadows from flash-units lower edges of Rock Face)
Still required LIGHTROOM adjustments to open up the shadows!
Fill Light-Slider to >35
Black-Slider to >9
Thanks for Viewing; ) !
P.S. Also wish I had composed image just a kiss lower to capture complete
shadow of the groom in lower right corner!
;)

Asking myself why I did it, the answer was: Overall composition, balance of the image. That is what you focus on when making pictures, don't you? And what does the viewer think when looking at your picture? Probably he doesn't look at the bottom missing a piece of the shadow, instead he sees this lovely couple on the edge of the rock. It's like a musician who doesn't get his solo as intended, but the audience likes it. So stay cool!
