1. Editors Note
===========================================================
Thanks for your interest in our non-profit community for
Nikon users.

For many of us the summer holidays are over and we return
to our duties. One of the funnier "duties" for the
editorial team is to spend more time with our community.

Lots of film is still waiting to be scanned and we hope
that some of the shots may make it into webbed travel
stories at Nikonians.

Should you want to contribute with a travel story yourself,
you can write us at editorial@nikonians.com. We are sure
that this could make up some interesting reading for other
members and lurkers.

Our non-dedicated webserver has never been working as much
as it did in August: Over 4GByte of traffic was generated.
Response time seems to have been generally ok though.

Several members have asked us if we shouldn't include a
second and third winner in the contest too. We have
decided against this - there will only be a single winner
in a given month.

4. Take the Nikonians Survey
===========================================================
A new, anonymous survey has been created. It will help us
to further improve the community and any registered member
can participate.

5. Customize Your Browser With Nikonians Hotbar(R) Skins
===========================================================
Nikonian Alan Clifton (AlanC) has created two "Skins" which
can be used to personalize your web browser, giving it a
Nikonian look. To be able to use the skins, you need the
Hotbar(R) plugin. Really nifty!

6. Nikonians on Photokina
===========================================================
Photokina - the large imaging and photography exhibition
takes place between 20-25th of September in Cologne,
Germany. Several Nikonians will meet there.

Nikon is located in H2.2, stand F.21 were they will present
several of their new products, among others the new F65,
the Nikkor AF-S 300/4 and the Nikkor G-series.
