It is with great pleasure that we celebrate the achievements of the Nikonians who chose to participate in the 2004 Nikonians Photo contest. Nikonians was founded to share, learn and inspire amongst Nikon users, in a friendly and creative environment. In just eleven months, the new Nikonians members Galleries grew to almost 15,000 images, where we certainly share with all, learn from all and were inspired. Adding to these implicit rewards, photo hunters located and bought usage of some of those images from Nikonians members. Furthermore, we were delighted to find corporations sponsoring our contest with exciting prizes. To them, our high appreciation.
With over 600 entries to the contest, each of the single monthly winners in both the Color and Black & White categories was invited to enter the finals, either re-submitting the winning photograph or submitting a new one. A wonderful collection of 22 images was the result. Nikonians decided to grant 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for 2004. The panel of judges from the Nikonians Masters Society, composed of outstanding professionals and highly advanced amateurs around the globe, casted their votes. We are very happy to announce the winners of the Nikonians Photo Contest 2004, and to present you their outstanding images. Our congratulations to all participants and to the winners. |
