JosephK Nikonian since 17th Apr 2006Thu 11-Feb-16 04:49 AMI use ExifTool to remove the XMP edit history of JPGs exported from Lightroom. I have it setup as a windows CMD script run in the "post process" step of the Export dialog.

shipsupt Registered since 27th Dec 2006Thu 11-Feb-16 06:50 AMI usually want to keep the metadata I've added when I publish, but in the cases that I don't I usually just use the check box in Lightroom when I export.
For sports I'm adding my metadata with Photo Mechanic. For everything else I add it while in Lightroom.

Are you consistent in your workflow prior of publishing e.g. online and what are the main issues you have bumped into regarding meta data publishing?
Photo Mechanic can do a lot of such stuff, but what are you using?
