Hi

I have Minolta Dimage Scan Dual II and Canon S9000 printer.

I have just have some pics back using Fuji NPS160 and when scanning and enlarging to A4/A3 am suffering from alot of grain on skin tones etc.

This has not happened before using slide film and does not seem to have been a problem using fuji NPH400 print although the subject matter was animals.

Anybody had the same problem - is NPS a bad one to scan

Settings used are max reolution 16bit colour giving file size of 50+mb

All other scans look excellent sharp and no grain

would it be better sending these off to be printed professionally?

Is there a good slide film for portraits? eg provia 100/400

any advice welcomed

G
