Bob's suggestion is great for the distortion and circularization but you'll need something for the extra coverage that you normally get from a fisheye. I suggest taking a series of at least 3 overlapping shots in a triangular pattern. Then you can stitch them together using a panoramic program and cut them into a circular image. Finally, you can run the Spherize filter as Bob suggests. If you try this, I'd like to see the results.... In fact, I may try it myself.

bobj Charter MemberTue 10-Jun-03 03:49 PMKeep in mind that it's hard to mimmick the exagerated perspective of a fish-eye in any case. The relationship of near to far objects would be difficult to recreate.
