I finally got my D600 with an 85mm 1:1.8G prime and a 24-120mm 1:4G zoom. For one that never reads the instructions I think this camera will change my ways. This is a bigger jump from film to digital for me than it was from beta sp video tape camera to a digital HD camera. But what fun. The camera feels solid to the hand and the images are amazing.

Congrats, Art! I just picked one up today, as well, to compliment my D7000, which I'll keep for when I need extra long telephoto reach. Couldn't decide between the 24-120 and 24-70 2.8, so I just got a 50 1.4 to start. It's the first time I've used full frame since leaving digital, so I'm looking forward to it.
I'd be very interested on hearing about, and seeing, your results with the 24-120. I find it very hard to decide between these zooms, even though I've read many reviews on the web.
