In Darrell Young's generally excellent book, Mastering the Nikon D600, he makes the following statement on p. 171 in connection with Easy Exposure Compensation: "If you allow the meter to reset...the compensation value you dialed in is reset to 0". What does it mean for the meter "to reset" on the D600? Many thanks in advance for any help that anyone can offer here.
