I have tried setting my D600 self timer (custom settings C3) in the following way

self timer delay 10s
number of shots 3
interval between shots 2 secs

and this works fine except when I put the built in flash up to add fill flash. With the flash up, only one picture is taken with the flash working. The other 2 programmed shots are not taken. I have varied this setup with out success.

So the question is can the self timer be programmed to take multiple pictures with flash with the D600?

This technique is useful when taking group shots that the photographer is in, needs flash and multiple shoots help minimize catching someone blinking.

thanks in advance
