Hi All - This is my first post, I just joined.
I have always shot with a Nikon d70 and the last two years started to do events...D70 was no good in low light.
I upgraded to full frame d600 and 28-300 VR lens yesterday and just found out i have an event in 3 days. I need advice on shooring with the d600 - (JUST opened the box) and lens advice for this event!
Outside - Red Carpet, step and repeat with other photogs.
Inside - Portrait and group shots up to 7 people (dont know how big the space is.
Then a panel disscussion with limited acess and only allowed a few shots with no flash.
Then shots during a reception, of some posters and crowds.
Possibly shots during some Green room interviews.

My equipment:
28-300 3.5 - 5.6
DX 18 - 70 3.5 5.6
SB600 flash
Willing to RENT as well.
