am shooting a rock and roll band friday, April 19th. I am using strobes and have pretty much a free hand to do what I want when these guys are shooting.

I will be using a D600 with a 24-105 f4 lens Nikkor.

I have shot bands before, but not getting the clarity I want.

Can anyone suggest the best setting to "stop action" setting?

I am shooting about F11 or f16 manual, ISO 100 shutter 125.

It seems I am getting the focus sort of late to snap that "one Shot"

Any suggestions
