Hello

I am quite new on this forum, I have a Nikon D600 and I am interested of astronomy. So I tried to photograph the comet PanSTARRS that was very near Andromeda galaxy and I forgot the intervallometer at home so I tried the built-in intervallometer. I set the intervallometer setting in the camera menus to 250 x 1 = 250 exposures and 5 sek delay. Iso 1600 @ 30 sek exposures with 5 sek delay between. But the camera only took 30 exposures and then stopped. I tried again an then it stopped with only 3 exposures.

I have a 16 gb genuie Sandisk card 45 mb/s transfer rate that was newly formatted before photographing

Anyone else that have the same problem? I hope I post this on the right forum.

Thanks in advance

G
