I had a lot of fun and shot several hundred shots this weekend of Canadian geese and pelicans, working to familiarize myself more with my camera.

I got really unbelievably good results once I changed to AF-C and 3d when it came to what are pretty high speed shots where I panned with the birds. I kept the ISO at 400 as I was shooting mostly at f/8 with a 70-300mm VR.

Anyway - one example here - and I had lots of keepers. The exif info is attached
