Like many others, I'm waffling between the D600 and D800. One of the deciding factors has been the placement of the remote shutter release on the D600--right where the RRS L-bracket fits. I don't want to have to loosen the bracket to make room for the connector each time I mount it to a tripod, and I'm not entirely sure the itty-bitty wireless remote would be practical when wearing gloves, as I did on a recent outing in a blizzard.

However, it seems criminal to pay $900 more just for a 10-pin connector.

Any advice?
