I am a 68 year old advanced amature photographer who has been shooting a D200 for the past four years. My primary interest is wildlife with nature landscapes taking a close second. Do to an arm injury, 90% of my work is from a tripod. I have numerous lenses but my most used ones are a AF-S Nikkor 400mm 1:2.8 G ED (sometimes with a TC-14EII 1.4X teleconverter) and a 24-85 mm 1:2.8-4 D MACRO (1:2)(sometimes with extension tubes). I have been waiting for the D400 to come out but I am sitting here tired of waiting. I want the next generation after the D300S - is the D600 what I should purchase? Should I wait longer? Should I look at something else?
Thank you, Dick
