Mentioned in the current thread on bracketing is a clever use of U1/U2. I don't think I am interested in devoting these potentially useful facilities to this particular mode of use but it got me to wondering if others devote SD cards to particular Camera/U1/U2 settings so that going from, say HDR to indoor action shooting to some other highly differentiated mode became simply a matter of popping out the current card and inserting the appropriate card with the desired settings, loading the settings on the card and going on from there. Anyone?

When I responded to the thread about Ken Rockwell's U1/U2 that's what i did to save my own settings while dabbling with KR's. Moving back and forth was quite quick and easy.
I don't foresee needing to do that on a regular basis. But one scenario that I could see using the technique, would be keeping video specific settings on a large capacity, high speed SD card dedicated for video shooting.
