This has been interesting:
Cannot install Capture NX2 (v 2.3.0) under OSX 10.8.2. "You do not have sufficient rights to install to the location you have selected. The installer will now quit."

(Edited to change version to 2.3.0 instead fo 2.3.5)

It's not "rights" it's "permissions" but that aside...
1) the software gives you no choice of where to install - it will only install on the root drive.
2) I've been a certified Mac consultant for 20 years now, and this has me stumped.
a) repaired permissions; nope.
b) altered permissions to 777 (everyone read/write); nope
c) logged in as root: nope.

Same results on two different Macs.

Simply will not install.

So giving up on that (and because I'm trying to get live-view on my laptop for macro work) I tried their Camera control. At least that installed.
But on neither machine is the camera recognized as connected.

I was finally able to get their little wifi unit to show up on my iPod, but that thing is basically useless.

OnOne Remote doesn't work with the D600; neither does the latest LightRoom.

I'm just looking to get a larger live image to do critical focusing.

Any suggestions on that, or on any of the above?

Thanks, and Happy New Year.
