Why would Nikon sell digital sensor cleaning tools to the public in Japan, but not anywhere else?
I'd like to know the cost of these Nikon sensor cleaning kits in US dollars, so that we can compare them to the tools available to us?
I'm not impressed with the tools I see in the photograph, especially the brush that looks like a house painter's tool. I'm almost afraid to ask what we are supposed to do with it.
One exception: that cool looking tackle box with the name "Nikon" emblazoned on the front. I gotta gets me one of them.
Apparently Canon too only sells digital cleaning products in Japan.
I learned about this at the Cleaning Digital Cameras Web site. This Web site is a great resource for digital sensor cleaning issues.
The Cleaning Digital Cameras Web site's Links Page includes a link to Nikonians.
