I'm beginning to believe Nikon isn't going to give us a DX body beyond the D7000 line. If you put the new D600 in DX mode it creates a usable ~12MP camera.

I personally would love to see a D400. I'm thinking a 12-15MP DX body with the ISO performance of at least the D700 and a 7-8 fps rate. I'm just not sure Nikon sees a need for it.

Thoughts?

Regards,
Chris
