D600 autofocus problems with Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF
I guess there is somebody here with older 70-200 VR.
Single focus at non moving object in 65 inches distance is not working well - just not sharp. If I point in the distance first and than come back to object it is easy noticeable. Motor is working but the AF stops approx at 90% of sharpness and manual overriding on mine nessessary to get 100%
I tried the lens with D7000 - no need of adjustment, not a lens problem.
How is that possible?

Do you have the focus limit switch set to infinity - 2.5m or to FULL?
It is easy to inadvertantly move it.
Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!

I normally do not touch it but somehow it got set to 2.5m
Now it is back on full and works as it should be.
