External LCD screen ideas needed
Ideas wanted for an external LCD screen for my D800 like the the D5000/D5100's articulated screen, please. Battery powered sized between a smart phone (better battery life) and a netbook (larger screen).
It can use UBS or HDMI and speed is not important. I just want something cheap to see live view streaming if I put the camera high or low.
I could use my laptop but its too big. I use it for Sharp Shooter and FoCal lens calibration.
Thanks for helping.

I don't think they will have battery power built in but cheap 7" monitors for 12 volt in car use check out offerings from Xenarc an Lilliput. I have had a Xenarc touch screen in my car for 3-4 years and it has a DVI input and some of them come with the appropriate HDMI to DVI cable. I am not up with the battery powered monitors the videographers use but I suspect these two will be the cheaper solution if you can power them from some sort of battery pack.
