I have a MBP circa 2006 that I use to run Aperture and NX. 2.33GH Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM. Yes, I know its not ideal but I'm leaning heavily towards picking up a D800 in the immediate future and the budget isn't there for a new laptop right now. My images are stored and referenced on several separate external HD's so I'm not as worried about storage as I am about horsepower for image processing. Is it doable or should I put the D800 (or D600 for that matter) on hold until I can beef up the system? My D200 is no longer reliable hence the rush for a new body.

Thanks.
