Very low light at a high school prom and I can get awesome exposures! With my D200, I would get under exposed even with the SB800 when I took an overhead shot of the very large room. With the D800, it is not a problem due to its higher ISO quality and dynamic range.
I took some table decoration at f/2 with my 50 mm lens and they pop with the background blurred. I love it as the DX format had too much depth of field for this kind of shooting.
Shoot nature with respect and don't trample it or startle its inhabitants. :)

That's a big jump from the 200, but I know how you feel.
Kind of like discovering photography again.
I'm looking at shooting things I wasn't able to before because of the quality at high ISO.
I was worried about the huge files going into a 4-day conference shoot, but it wasn't an issue. (I'm still learning how to use it, but Camerabits Photo Mechanic program made downloading & culling images a breeze http://www.camerabits.com/products/)
