You didn't mentioned how the photos looked after the download. If the photos are good, I would suspect a problem elsewhere. If the photos are bad then it could possibly be a defective memory card or simply one that needs to be reformatted. Personally I reformat my cards after my photos are downloaded and backed up.
You might want to try downloading some older photos to the DVD just to check that operation. If it works, you might want to check the size of what doesn't download to what does. It is possible with the large files you are trying to exceed the capacity of the DVD. I am not a Mac man, just trying to give a sugguestion for troubleshooting the issue. I have no idea how your software works, just have a lot of years trouble shootin and fixing system issues
Hi Everyone, I have burned disc's before using my D800. Burned other files and they were okay. Just took test shoots with a different card and burned a disc and that was okay. The card that gave me the problem, i'm hesitating in formatting it and tying test shoots with that one.
While this may not be quite the topic I had an issue where I took some important photo's with my D800. When I went to import into LR4 the images on some were corrupt and had purple streaks. Not all of them did. I had no problem though with photo's from my Nikon1 V1 though. After pondering this I realized I had bought a Delkin usb 3.0 card reader about a month ago. I had been importing from SD cards, though my problem above was with CF card. I changed back to older Delkin card reader and everything was fine. It appears a problem with CF slot on new reader. I am glad I tried a few things before giving up.
