My D800 hasn't arrived yet. Can I spell impatience? (YES)
I read previous messages about the cards used. If I understand right, there is ONE CF slot and ONE SD slot.
I have a Sandisk 32 (@600?) coming. Would it be better to have something like a Lexar x1000 and nothing in the SD slot?
Wildlife shooter. Sometimes, action gets going fast. I cannot wait for writing to a card.

I would put a CF and a SD card in the camera for more flexibility. You can set it up in the following potential ways:
1. Have both cards record the same thing for an in camera backup.
2. Have the second card start filling up when the first fills up.
3. Put RAW files on one card and Jpegs on the second card.
