D800 One stop difference between Live View & VF

I started out testing lens sharpness between live view and the view finder. They both appear fairly similar, but every shot has a one stop metering difference. I have my camera on a tripod and I'm using indoor lighting. The lens is a 50mm 1.4g.

Any thoughts?
