Apparently I am not as steady "hand held" as I was when I was 67. I am finding that I need to use Auto-ISO more often than I did with my D300 to get the higher shutter speeds I need for sharp focus with this camera (D800e). This introduces some noise on occasion that I attempt to reduce in Lightroom. That sometimes flattens the whole image too much.

I have High ISO Noise Reduction set to LOW.

Are you finding this as well? I understand Nik Define software does a better job at noise reduction.
