I've read the D800 manual and also Thom Hogan's guide to the D800 and I can not find a statement on whether or not the D800 continues to focus in AF-C mode during a burst-mode series of shots (release mode Ch - continuous high speed). I did see one post that claimed it would but only if I move the focus activation off the shutter release button and on to the AF-ON button on the back of the camera. I also have a friend with a D4 who's perplexed with this question. Any insights from the Nikonians community?
