I have acquired a new 64gig SDXC card for use in my D800.

Having formatted it in camera and taken a few trial shots I was impressed by the speed of it.

Now after taking a shot I can view it and the histogram almost immediately whereas before using the CF card I had to wait for the green light to extinguish.

The only drawback as far as I am concerned is that I have to use the USB cable direct from the camera to download into Bridge as my card reader will not see the SDXC card.

The speed of download to the PC is also very fast.

I am going to use the SDXC as my Primary memory in camera, do you consider this wise or have you any misgivings, would appreciate your thoughts.

Cheers

Brian
