I just tried to format a bunch of cards on my D800E that I had used previously in my D7000. Very mixed results:
1. a variety of SanDisk SD and Lexar SD all formatted fine
2. 8 and 16 GB Delkin SD formatted fine but 32 GB SD Delkin would not format - just hung up when I tried to access the menu
3. 16 GB SD Transcend formatted fine
4. 16 <CF> Kingston cards would not format

Since neither Transcend nor Delkin are on the approved list, would it be safe to use those two - anyone have any trouble with cards that format right up?

Thanks for any input.
