Same as above - The eye-fi is great in concept; but in reality it tends to be slow.
And with the HUGE files that the D800 produces, its pretty un-usable (which is unfortunate, because the solution itself is great- bandwidth just hasn't caught up to the need).

I was playing around with this last night and here are my results....
I have the older Eye-Fi "home" 2gb card which is not the N wireless so I would assume the new card will have better speed.....I just ordered one and will test it when I receive it. This older card would not transfer NEF files.
I am using an iPhone 4s with the Eye-Fi app
JPEG Basic 8-9 seconds
JPEG Fine 43-48 seconds
What I did like------ I also tried shooting "RAW + Jpeg fine" capturing the NEF file to a compact flash card and having the jpeg image go to the eye-fi card. The results of this was a 10-11 sec transfer time......maybe the new card will even improve this!
Hope this helps!
