I use my D7000 strictly for shooting video. I do everything manually. I find the red autofocus square and yellow face recognition squares distracting. I figured out how to disable the face recognition (set focus area to wide), but for the life of me can not figure out if there is a way to get rid of that red square! So fare, my solution is to just move it down to a corner out of the way, but I have to do this everytime between shots. I basically want the screen as uncluttered as possible while I'm composing, focusing and shooting - ideally, nothing but the image.

Thanks!
