I see many users stating they have (any number) shutter clicks on their camera. Is there a menu buried somewhere in the camera that logs this?

Also, I bought my D7000 a few weeks ago new in the box from a local camera shop. I am curious as to what month/year it was manufactured. Is there a database somewhere, or will Nikon provide date of manufacture via serial number?

Thanks
