I'm using the 16GB version of the Sandisk Extreme Pro UHS-I card in my D7000. They seem to work just fine. I had the 30MB/sec Sandisk Extreme prior to this newer one, and only notice a very small difference with buffer clearing speeds.
Can the 32gb UHS-1 be read with a standard SDHC card reader? TIA

It's interesting that you are not noticing much buffer clearing difference. I wonder where the physical limit is - D7000 or UHS-1 45MB/second ? Your impression would seem to imply the limiter is the D7000. ;-( Were you doing any long buffer filling bursts?
Part of me is still hoping that we could get non-buffer-limited long heavy bursts with our D7K by use of even faster UHS-1 clearing speeds. IIRC UHS-1 will allow 100MB/sec in future, but if we are limited by the size of the pipe in the D7000 it won't help us during shooting.
I was shooting some longer heavy bursts out birding last weekend and getting a little frustrated with the small D7K buffer. At one point I got mad and just held and held the trigger on one of my subjects and with my 16GB 30MB/sec Sandisk card, once the buffer was full I was only getting two photos and a long pause and two photos (and so on).
hi there! I am using this card and it is reaonable price! Have noticed speed when downloding from camera to laptop but yet to see what it does for camera buffer to card speed at continuous shutter speed!
