Nikon 10 pin to MC-DC2 convertor
Hi, I recently got a D7100 after going through nearly all the pro D series, including the D300. As a result I have a collection of various remote cables with 10 pin plugs.
Question: is there such a thing as a cable with a 10 pin socket at
one end and a MC-DC2 plug at the other end?
And is there a D7100 version of the MC-22A for DIY remote controls?

This has come up a couple of times in the Df forum since the Df takes the MC-DC2-style accessories. People there report good success using this:
I haven't seen a DIY cable per se, but there are several vendors who sell a cable with a TRS miniature or subminiature phone plug on the end. Or get this item and have both a shutter release and a cable you can use for DIY.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately they will not ship to either the UK or Ireland, nor even Vatican City for that matter!
However I did find the following which seems to fit the bill:
As for DIY, I'll simply buy the cheapest wired remote control and cut off the handheld part.
