I have a 7100 with 2 Nikon lenses, a 18-70mm 3.5 G ED Dx and an AF-S 70-300mm 4.5 G ED. When I take landscape shots, I notice that the 70-300 seems to over expose and focus rather soft at the longer distances, 200 -300, in particular. I shoot RAW and usually hand held. I've tried different modes, landscape, Aperture priority, and auto but, the results seem the same. I don't seem to have this problem nearly as much with the 18-70. Sorry I don't have a sample to upload. I'm away from my gear and PC atm and posting this question off my iPad,

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
