D7000 arrived yesterday (only two month wait) so I went to the airport today for some first shots. Sharpness seems ok to me so far, especially the first Alaska shot at 1/200, iso 100 before I increased shutter speed. My trusty Nikkor 70-210 lens used for years with my n8008 seems to work perfectly with the D7000. Glad I waited instead of buying a D90. I shot jpeg, cropped, and let photoshop autolevel, then adjusted size.

Lots & lots to learn

Airplanes are doing roughly 140 knots after they rotate on takeoff!

First photos posted so I'm trying to figure out if I'm sending the right size.
