I'm headed to the Galapagos at the end of the year for 7 days by boat and a couple of days in Quito going in and out. I bought a D7000 to add to my arsenal for the trip (selling D300 and have D700 w/MB-D10) as I want to capture some HD video while there with extended family. I'll have the D700 along as well and a G9 with underwater housing, but I'm especially wondering what gear for the D7000 I might want to grab that I'd wish later I had along??

I ordered from B&H today 4 x 16GB Lexar Class 6 SD Cards and I have a couple 8GB cards from G9
Already have second EN-EL15 battery
Eyecup
Hoodman angle finder
Hoodman Hoodloupe << {any thoughts on their accessory for strapping the Hoodman Loupe to the camera http://www.hoodmanusa.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HSLRM ????}
Nikon SB-400 flash and SC-29 cable (have 900s and 800s but too big to take)
Sensor swab and solution kit
190CX-Pro CF Travel Tripod and head
Monopod
Epson P-5000
Laptop and 250GB external drive

Lenses are obviously key but not really what I'm wondering about...have lot of DX glass from 10.5 f/2.8, 17-55 f/2.8, 18-200 f/4-5.6VR, Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6 plus the 70-200VR I and TC-17IIe and a 50 f/1.8.

Not sure if I'll take a microphone or not as I don't really care about audio there so much, though I do have a Sony mic
My 10 pin remote cable for D700 won't work, do I want an infrared remote for it may be?...or just use self timer? I think once I leave Quito and head for the Galapagos, most of my shooting will be hand-held anyway.

Suggestions welcome...Am going to get the gear there as two carry-ons....a LowePro Stealth Reporter 650AW and a LowePro Slingshot 300AW.

Thanks.
