I have a Nikon GPS-1 but read postings about Solemeta.
The N2 had its own battery but the newest N3 is like the Nikon one & powered from the camera.
They seem to work 'faster' & more reliably in cities than the GPS1 but any opinions on whether the N2 with its rechargeable battery & being able just to buy another cable in the event of a different camera or even if the cable gets damages? Are there other differences? I ask because whilst they say less current drain on the new N3 the specs show it the same as N2,60mA.
If this is the wrong forum for such a question, sorry. Point me in the right direction.
Tom
