Since it was the last oportunity for the next 105 years to view Transit of Venus across the sun I made effort to take picture of it. Nikon D7000 with 18-200 lens and old Xray film as a filter I managed to capture good sharp black spot and about 6 sun spots in the image. I set the camera to manual mode, f/20 at 1/5000 sec. Spot metering, AF-S Area mode single. ISO 100. Tried to double Xray film but could not get focus. So happy with the result that I decided to invest in ND x400 and do some practice before full sun eclipse in November in Cairns Australia.
