OK, I have the Nikon MB-D11 (actually it's a 3rd party vendor). In addition to the grip I got three battery pack accessories. One uses alkalines/nimh, one uses a EN-EL15, and one is a 7.4v 3200maH battery pack.

I know that if I use the alkaline/nimh accessory the battery status is just an icon symbol. My question is, should I be getting actual battery status from the .4v 3200mAh battery pack? At the moment I am only getting an icon symbol. I don't currently have an EN-EL15 so can't check that accessory.
