I never did a catwalk fashion shoot. Next week I will be shooting Catwalk Fashsion, will be using Nikon d7000, lens 18-105, Lens 70-300, flash gun SB900. What would be the best setting? I will be shooting RAW, handheld, and Manual Mode, continuous AF. Thanks
Since your subjects will be moving, a shutter speed of 1/125 or higher will probably be needed. With either of those lenses, set them to f/5.6 and up the ISO to get a reasonable shutter speed. The flash can help with that.
One problem I can see is that for this type of event I would want to shoot it in portrait orientation most of the time, but the camera-mounted flash makes that rather awkward.

If you're handy enough to make one that a great way to go. I use the Demb flash bracket and like it a lot. It's much lighter than most at 7oz and only runs about $89.95.http://www.dembflashproducts.com/bracket/
Ether way you go you'll need to get a flash cord to fire your flash from the bracket, Good luck
