These are sequential images. All settings the same: f2.8, ISO 4000, 1/500, WB custom using X-rite colorchecker, same post processing settings in LR. Is the difference I see a shift in WB? Is that even possible? I have been noticing this on other games and haven't stopped to post for feedback so it isn't a random occurrence. The balance of this game shows the same issue.
If you're just asking about the sequence of six baseball (softball?) shots, the answer is likely to be the cycling colour temperature of the stadium lights. This is a perennial problem for sports shooters
Brian, I don't know what all of the photos other than the 6 are. I didn't upload them.
But, as for the 6, the cycling color temp of stadium lights can change in less than the milliseconds between the two shots showing the most difference? Wow. I thought I may have a problem with the camera but if it can detect a change like that, I guess the sensor(s) are working fine!
My first thought was something with the lights but I ruled that out because of the rather short distance in time between the two shots. But, I am glad it wasn't the camera this time. IF any of the parents notice, I will sound like I know what I'm talking about!!! LOL
