I've just started looking into Interval Shooting in Darrell's Mastering The D7000 Guide Book and have a question for some of you experienced shooters.
If I set the timer to 1 frame every 10 seconds, how do I set the stop time? Do I do that with setting the number of intervals to 180 for a total of 30 minutes?

Yes. I think setting it to 181 would give you one at the start and then 1 every 10 sec for 30 minutes.
