Hello:
I took the D7000 out for the first time yesterday to film my daughter's gymnastics competition. I noticed during filming that the AF "would" not keep up with her. It mostly focused on the BG and very seldom tracked her. I said "would" because I don't know if it "can". That's my question....

For those that video a lot with the camera, do you think the D7000 is capable of keeping focus on a fast moving subject at all?? If so, what can I do during filming in order to help it track better.

I was using AF-C mode, Matrix metering, filming 1920x1080 - 24P mode. I used A mode set at f/2.8, and shot at 3200 asa. using a 70-200 f/2.8.

Any advise would really be appreciated.

Thanks,
Richard
